There’s An App For That

The iPhone 4

These days we are constantly searching for ways to make our lives easier, especially when it comes to the mobile apps we use. With the millions of apps, it’s hard to find the ones that are easy, reliable, and actually helpful. So as the office experts, we’ve complied a list of some of our favorite office apps to make your day both enjoyable and productive.

  1. Evernote is for the note takers who are bored of the usual pen and paper. Through Evernote, you can write in any form and any length. You can gather things like web links, handwritten notes, and quick photos all in one place. Evernote is a workspace necessity.
  2. Genius Scan. This app is crucial for a busy, on-the-go office. Through Genius Scan, you can scan documents, receipts and pictures, as well as organize them into different folders or multi-page PDF files. You can export your files to other storage apps such as Dropbox, or you can send them to your email. Genius Scan is basically a pocket scanner. What more could you want?
  3. OnTheFly. This app is for the business travelers (or just regular travelers). OnTheFly gives you advanced and understandable information on the cheapest flights. You can easily compare airline prices and dates, and you can plan your itinerary all in a couple quick steps.
  4. Zite is great way to discover new content. It delivers news articles, blog posts and videos, all catered to your interests. Zite has more than 40,000 topics to choose from and lets you pick what you like best. Whether you’re looking for news updates or fresh ideas, Zite is a perfect app for the workplace.

There are all different types of people in an office: the note-takers, the organizers, the travelers, and the leaders. With the right apps and the right people, you can take your business to the next level.
